ABOUT ME

Born in South Korea, I moved to Canada with my family during middle school. Throughout my childhood, I have always been interested in the world of computers. In my teenage years, despite knowing nothing about programming, I ran a game server and website, getting spoon-fed by people on online forums.
After graduating from high school, I began my university studies in General Science, unsure of which path to take. However, after taking a Computer Science course as an elective, I instantly knew that this was meant for me, so I switched my degree program to Computer Science.
As a South Korean citizen, military service was mandatory for me. I joined the Korean Navy and was fortunate to be selected as a member of the Computer Emergency Response Team. This is how my career in cyber security started.
After successfully completing my military service and earning my degree, I began my professional career as a software developer. Later, I transitioned to a role as a security analyst, where I defended organizations from cyberattacks.
Currently, I'm on the offensive side as an ethical hacker, finding vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, demonstrating their impact, and providing solutions for remediation.
Beyond the technology field, I am always in search of new experiences. I love going on adventures, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and trying out new foods!
